UPMT 2017
Uttarakhand Pre-medical Test (UPMT) 2017 will be conducted by the H.N.B Uttarakhand Medical Education University(HNBUMU) for providing admissions into various medical programs such as MBBS/ BDS offered by the private/ government medical/dental colleges of Uttarakhand. It has been replaced by NEET since 2016.The Counseling for medical state quota seats will be organized by the same HNB medical University. Candidates can get the Applications through the Online mode from the official website. UPMT Application  form 2017 will be released from third week of March 2017.
Application fee for UPMT 2017
The application fee is Rs.2000/- for general or other Backward category candidates Rs.1400/- for SC/ST category candidates. Candidates can pay the fee through internet banking, credit card, e-challen and Bank draft.
UPMT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates must be a citizen of Indian.
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board or Institute of Uttarakhand with Physics, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
  • They have to obtain minimum 50% marks for general category, 45% general category PH & 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC
  • Candidates have to complete minimum 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years. There will be a 5  years of age relaxation for the reseved category candidates.
  • The candidates who are going to appear for Qualified examination are also eligible to apply.

UPMT 2017 Exam Pattern
The question paper of the entrance exam consists of 200 Multiple choice Questions.
Each Question carries one mark. There is no Negative marking.
The duration of the UPMT 2017 Entrance Exam will be 3 hours.
Exam paper is in English and Hindi language.
