Kerala Lateral Entry Scheme is planned to admit the diploma holders to the Second/Third semester of B.Tech courses to get a degree in Engineering.Kerala LET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test) is approved by Government of Kerala. Interested and Eligible Diploma holders can apply for the Kerala LET 2017 at the Online through the official website.

Eligibility Criteria for writing Kerala LET 2017
Candidates who have passed diploma in Engineering/ Technology recognized by any state Board of Technical Education, or Intitutions under Govt of India after undergoing regular course of 3years are eligible for writing the Test.
Those who are appearing for final year diploma examination are also eligible to apply. They should produce the qualifying certificates at the time of admission.
Application fee of Kerala LET 2017
Application fee is Rs.750/- for general candidates and Rs.375/- for SC/ST candidates, which can be paid in 'Shakti Account' of The Joint Controller of Technical Examination from any branch of State Bank of Travancore.
ST candidates whose annual income is below Rs.40,000 are exempt from paying application fee on condition that they produce income certificate for the same.

This is a OMR based Objective type Entrance Test. Time Duration for this Test is 2hours.The entrance test is will be on selected subjects of first year B.Tech course and English language as per the scheme and syllabus approved by govt. Mathematics, Engineering Mechanics, IT & Computer Science; Civil Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Electronics & Communication Engg.Each question carries 3 marks and 1 mark will be deduced for every wrong answer.
Submission of Application: Applications are to be submitted online and the Downloaded application form duly filled up along the with the required certificates and shakti Chelan form should reach The Joint Controller of Technical Examinations by Registered post or by a person.
